Each year, tens of thousands of open jobs go unfilled as a result of a workforce that lacks needed digital skills. investments are needed to improve quality and participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and training to prepare the current and future workforce. To address the skills gap, ITI advocates for long-term policy solutions that invest in STEM and computer education and training programs, including in higher education, which often lead to next-generation innovations and new businesses and jobs.

ITI's National Initiative to Increase Diversity in Technology at Morehouse College

ITI's partnership with Morehouse College through the Innovation Advisory Board seeks to narrow the skills gap and diversify the global tech industry workforce by leveraging the vision and experience of the world’s leading technology companies who make up ITI’s membership to further educational offerings at institutions with a track record of producing diverse tech talent. The goal is to equip students with the right skills and practical experiences to become the leaders needed to address our most significant technical challenges. Learn more.
